I believe that everyone has within them the ability to access your own distinct creative voice. I believe that given a little push (or a big one if you need!) and some guidance you can learn a new way to express the world around you. I believe I can be your guide.

live in my studio as we explore Abstract and Mixed Media Art. I love try new techniques and spend quality time working on loosening up so that we can best express the wild worlds inside ourselves. We are gonna try lots of crazy supplies, new techniques and challenge ourselves to let it all out.
We will be sharing multiple exercises intended to help you tap into your creative potential and allow you to find new pathways of expression and sharing. We are going to explore A LOT of mixed media supplies while also focusing on creative exercises.
I use art to heal, to document, to listen. During 2020 art has been one of the few things holding me together. SO MANY people have asked when I am doing another class during this, wanting like me a way to process what we are going through that looks different. Finally here it is.
We require that folks where masks whenever they are inside of our building and we will also be requiring that participants be fully vaccinated with proof to register for classes. Due to covid we also will be limiting the number of participants to create a safer environment to work in

Mixed Media Abstract ARt Journaling
May 1st 12 pm - 4 Pm
Join Kirista Trask May 1st 12 pm-4 pm, in her studio for a four hour Art Journaling workshop. We will begin the workshop by hand making our own mixed media sketchbooks. Then Kirista will lead the class through a series of art journaling exercises you can take home with you to continue your artistic journey.
